A child's first visit to the children's dentist should take place at the age of 2.5 to 3 years and, of course, accompanied by a parent.

By then the little milk teeth have come through, and at the first appointment the dentist checks whether everything is in order. The first visit is then followed by regular visits to the dentist. Two appointments a year are enough, however, as long as everything is in order. It is best to come and see us with your little one once every six months.
The first visits allow us to build a relationship of trust with your child, because at the first appointments we usually just take a look. We therefore recommend that parents of young children stay with the dentist they have chosen and, if possible, do not switch.

Preparing properly for a visit to the children's dentist
The visit to the children's dentist is prepared accordingly by the parents. It is best to explain to the child in simple words that the milk teeth need to be checked regularly so that the little toothache man has no chance to spread on the teeth.
At the appointment we then ask you to hand over the conversation with your child to us. If there have ever been problems with another children's dentist, please let us know briefly, but preferably not in your child's presence.
As with adults, prophylaxis is a large part of dental treatment for children. We have fun with children during dental treatment.
